EVERYTHING was great! From service to the food, EXCELLENT! I saw a review from someone sayin this place is TexMex, they're from up north and clearly an idiot! Mexican Inn and El Chico are TexMex, Burritos Locos #2 is closet to the real deal. Barbacoa, A+. Lingua, A+ , etc etc.

Delicious Asada Tacos for less than 2$ filled with avo, lettuce, cilantro and onion, 3 variety of salsa with our chips delicious tea. Would recommend to anyone.

    Breakfast Tacos = 5 stars

First off, Burritos Locos #2 has a interesting name and awesome breakfast tacos. Just 2 tacos will be enough for just about anyone and only run you around 3 and a half bucks.

    So why 4 stars?
Well, the rest of menu for lunch and dinner is pretty good, but it's not 5 star material. Service is mediocre and the atmosphere is meh.

There is free beer and margaritas on the weekends. That's pretty great.

Great authentic taqueria. Free beer on the weekends!! Woo hoo!!

Amazing soups and more. Great customer service and very lovely ladies.

Great food- good prices. This is your taco stand with a roof restaurant. You won't be mad it isn't La Hacienda quality food because you aren't paying $15/plate. My wife and I grab tacos from here at least once a week. Love this place

Really good food to dine in or take on the go. Everything is freshly made when you order.

Food was great. A little more expensive than I thought it would be but with the size of the portions it's reasonable

This is a great little Mexican place! It is never too busy, so they are able to give you great and quick service. Plus they have free beer and margs on the weekend! Everything we've tried is very authentic tasting and delicious! Their guacamole is always fresh and made perfectly. Plus free chips and a trio of salsas ranging in hotness while you're looking at the menu. They aren't stingy with their food, I am always super full when I leave!

  • *****

Awesome Food, Awesome Service! I'm Never dissatisfied and they dont skimp on the portions and very reasonably priced. Food is ALWAYS fresh, if you're hungry and you like real authentic Mexican food, check em out, you won't regret it!

They have huge portions and there quesadilla was super greasy but so huge I couldn't finish it anyway I will be returning simply because I love authentic Mexican flavor, it is close to me, and the price is great for the portion

i love this place, been going to the Grapevine location for years.

everything i've had here is delicious, but trust me, get the breakfast burrito.

Absolutely love their food!! Savory flavors and they do not skimp on portions. I've been on the hunt for really good nachos, not just ballpark nachos, and they delivered. Love that they give you three salsas with the chips. I ordered chicken nachos which ended up to be their own seasoned shredded chicken that was very good. We also ordered the chicken soup. This is perfect if your sick or wanting comfort food. It came with two huge drumsticks in the broth with the veggies. We were not disappointed and will definitely be back soon!!

  • *****

Food was about a 3 star, which to me is very good. I have it 4 stars because the service and friendliness are amazing. Pork tacos were my favorite. They give away free beer on weekends.

  • *****

This place is amazing! They are so sweet & helpful. Always checking on you, and making you smile!

Tacos were good. I liked the avocado on the asada. I thought they were about .25 cents over priced, but the service was very attentive.

    **JUMBO REVIEW**
Alright seors and seoritas. My boyfriend literally lives down the street from Burritos Locos and he eats here at LEAST once a week. Which means I have been here plenty of times as well. He has tried almost everything on the menu and the menu is huge by the way. Here is a breakdown of our favorite things. Vamonos!

You can just walk in and choose where you want to sit. There are usually already menus at the table that you can look at while you wait for a waitress to come over and bring you chips and three kinds of salsas. All of the waitresses are very nice, never had a bad experience here. Also, free beer on the weekends, I believe you can also get a free margarita on Saturdays only.

    1. Tortas
This is what I order 90% of the time we're here. It's pretty big and I have never finished it before. They load the sandwich up and toast the bread a little, which is the best part. Our favorite is the carne asada and I usually ask for extra avocado, extra cost of course. I've also tried the al pastor and the breakfast torta, but always find myself going back to the carne asada torta. What can I say, it's a classic!

    2. Tacos
His favorite tacos are the fish and chicken tacos. The shredded chicken is very moist. Put the spicy red sauce and the pico on top. The fish tacos come out piping hot. Be careful, or you will get a third degree burn from the corn tortillas. The fish is seasoned really well.

    3. Fajitas
Chicken tastes better than the beef. Ask for extra vegetables, they taste the best when they're a little burnt from the skillet. Especially the onions!

    4. Breakfast burrito
Let me say this, the burrito desayuno is. Huge. It probably weighs as much as a newborn baby and is also the size of one. My boyfriend eats A LOT and prefers quantity over quality, but this burrito has both and it's only $6.

    5. Pozole
They only offer pozole on Friday-Sunday. The soup is massive, get your belly ready. There's a huge beef bone in it and it comes with cabbage and onions to top it off. Highly recommend to anyone if you want to try something different. It's also about $8, I believe, but it is totally worth it.

    6. Nachos
It's YUGE. Toppings include dollops of sour cream and guac, tomatoes, cheese, a ton of well-seasoned ground beef, beans, you know the usual. Add some Tapatio or Valentina on top for some spice and you've got some good nachos. I'm obsessed!

  • *****

Love the prices and the food! Great customer service. Free beer on Friday and the weekends. Free margaritas on Saturday.

  • *****

Good food and service excellent choices of authentic Mexican grub! When was the last time you saw goat tacos on the menu huh? Lol go check em out! I will the next time I'm in town.

  • *****

It's great!!! Not a fancy place but it's always clean, the food is really good and prices are excellent!
Lots to choose from, free beer on the weekends or BYOB!!! Try the tortas, the beef soup and the fried fish!!!

  • *****

Honestly one of the absolute best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten in my entire life.

  • *****

Love this place. Never had a bad dish, and I've tried many.

  • *****

They are excellent. The food taste good and the portions are fabulous. Love it .I'll be back.

  • *****

Really good value and great presentation. I highly recommend anyone checking it out

  • *****

I generally like the food, and the salsa flavors are fantastic! I don't fully understand some of the plating options, like putting lettuce and sliced tomatoes on the side with a quesadilla but the quesadillas are delicious! Hands down though, cheese Rojas enchiladas are my favorite item!

  • *****

Delicious.... Muchos Bueno. waitress was very helpful. Tacos and Nachos Mmuwah!

  • *****

I love street style tacos and these were great. They have some tacos you dont find at other places. My dad got the liver and onion tacos and said he loved them. The price was pretty cheap for such good food. I will definitely come back.

  • *****

Nothing fancy with limited seating but authentic cuisine at a good price. Large menu selection. Drive through. I had the tapaqueno (sp) excellent ($11.99).. Salsa's were good with a little heat (3 types@table). My wife had the street tacos they were generous ($1.75).

  • *****

I had the nachos and thought they were very yummy!! I liked how there was 3 different salsas brought out at the beginning of our meal. Also, the service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back!

  • *****

Stopped in on a whim since I was driving by. Al pastor and carnitas tacos were great. Good street taco style flavor. Fresh vegetables and limes. Salsa tray had a great variety and added to the tacos. Definitely will be back here! Happy national taco day!

  • *****

Good and fast service! They also have live music on Fridays and a variety of Mexican and seafood which I love!

  • *****

The waiter was very kind and hospitable! The food was exquisite and the service was also very fast! This is a good place to eat!

  • *****

I've eaten here about six times now and every time it's WOW. Love this place and the Breakfast Tacos are real good too.

  • *****

Great enchiladas!!! I would have given 5 stars if they hadn't drown my enchiladas rojas with red sauce. I was able to take some sauce off. Next time I know to ask for red sauce on the side. I look forward to going back! By the way, it was cash only at the drive thru window.

  • *****

Great service and great authentic Mexican food. The prices for are perfect for a family of five. So good on fact, we ate here twice in one week! If your looking for some good street tacos you gotta check it out!

  • *****

A great place all around. Coffee had cinnamon flavor which was a pleasant surprise. This location has a hotter than average red sauce and quite tasty. The portions are generous in size. I had huevos con bistec which was good. Definitely would visit again.

  • *****

No longer the so-so pizza place, but a very good table-service taqueria with ample portions at reasonable prices. And, the loathesome "Tex-Mex" label and corresponding slop is nowhere to be found inside. I had chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. I also got a layer of cheese I didn't anticipate--next time I'll request they leave it off.

  • *****

This place is all about true authentic Mexican food. The tacos & enchiladas will blow you away & the guacamole is fresh made with a big portion. The free cerveza fri- sun is pretty awesome too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who really appreciates real Mexican food

  • *****

Food was great and the price even greater!! The service was good as well. Place is clean and they're doing a good with this location.

  • *****

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, so I went tonight and I was not disappointed. It smelled so good I ate it before I remembered to take pictures.

The drive thru guy was really nice. I ordered two barbacoa tacos (made right with cheek meat!) and a side of rice., and it came out to only $5.40. I was surprised so I thought it would be small portions. I was so wrong. The side of rice was huge, and the tacos were full of meat. The rice was delicious and authentic, and the tacos were so on point. They were a little greasy, but that made them that much better. Not dry at all.

I would absolutely make this my go to for barbacoa tacos, and I plan on trying many more items from the menu. So glad I finally stopped by!

  • *****

Really friendly, helpful service from start to finish. They have a massive amount of choices on the menu: authentic Mexican food like sopes, tostadas, gorditas, tortas, seafood dishes, all-day breakfast, and more.

  • *****

This place is new to the neighborhood and they had about 5 people in line at 6:30pm on a Tuesday...so it must be good! We were very happy with the taste, quality, portion and price.

Street style tacos with steak were amazing! Tons of cilantro and the steak was very tender. Just wish I had lime at home because that would have been nice. They had quite a few meat options for the tacos too.

The nachos were crazy. They could barely be contained in the take out container and definitely weighed over 2 lbs. So glad my husband and I were sharing. I couldn't believe the amount of guac and sour cream! We also shared a steak sope and it was good too. All for $15 bucks.

We will be back to try breakfast this weekend!

The first time I went to burrito loco was the one in southlake probably 10mins from the grapvine mall, I was so happy finding out their will be a closer one to my house! Yaaas lol anyways, service has been nice and they keep it pretty clean since it is an older building, affordable prices, and great food. If you feel stuffed you can walk at the park by it or head to the northeast mall for some shopping and then watch a movie!

  • *****

Bistek Burrito. It's the size of a football.

Been here a couple times. Order at the counter or sit and they'll serve you. They bring chips/salsa trio. It's fresh. But not a lot of flavor. Burrito has fresh cooked steak. And lots of fresh veggies. I'll be back.

  • *****

I came here a few weeks back and was craving the Milansia Torta I had, So I came on back and order it's good and plenty big chips and salsa are also good but you might need to request another chip basket as they are small but they will Glady bring another there is no Acholol here but you can byob..It's small and somewhat dated interior but it's real Mexican food and it's family owned Pozole and Menudo on the weekends.. the short is Decent Food,no frills, reasonably price place to have a filling Mexican plate

First time here, read the reviews and was in the neighborhood so we gave it a try. Seated right away, server very friendly. Brought out chips and the three salsas. I order ribeye steak and arbol peppers plate. The steak was cut thin with the red sauce, arbol peppers and onoins on top, rice and beans. Came with tortillas. Very tasty although the steak cood have been a little more tender considering that its supposed to be ribeye . for the price i feel like it's a good deal. The wife got the tacos on corn tortillas, barbocoa, carnitas and chicken wich all three came with plenty of meat and very good. They offer a free beer and on Saturday a free margarita! Hard to beat that. Nice little cozy place. We will be back and order something different.

Yes, finally a place that has red chili enchiladas for this West TX/practically NM transplant. They are definitely not stingy at all with the cheese either. This plate could have been split and there would have been more than enough for 2 people. The salsas are good and fresh, if you eat there you get 3 kinds along with chips. Beans and rice are good as well. This is not an order at the counter place, they actually wait on you. Service was friendly and fast.

I have also tried the breakfast tacos (drive thru), they are a great bargain..they stuff them full. A great deal at 1.59 and a friendly face and smile at the drive thru.

Omg this place saved my life while I was pregnant! Lol. I moved here from California so I'm obviously spoiled when it comes to Mexican food. I went to so many places before I found this one! I had a really hard time finding actual carne asada and enchiladas without chili on them (that's definitely a Texas thing)! This place has authentic Mexican food! The service is great too! After I had my baby the ladies that work there were so excited to see him! I was there at least 2-3times a week while pregnant lol. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This place is EXCELLENT! Truly authentic. Best I've had in a long time. Will definitely revisit on out next trip to town.

This is our new obsession. We stopped by on a whim while driving around and getting hungry and we were so thrilled we did. The food is AMAZING. I am not exaggerating, it is delicious. So much so that we stopped in for breakfast the next day, then I came for dinner twice the next week and about once a week the next few weeks following. The price is pretty dang good, especially considering the amount of food they give you. On weekends, if you go inside, they have free beer with an entree, and one of the weekend days they have free margaritas also. They were so sweet with our toddler when we came inside. Every single person on staff has been very friendly. We truly do love it here!

  • *****

Love eating here and go in the morning for the breakfast burrito. Its a huge burrito stuffed with egg, cheese, potato, ham, bacon and chorizo I believe. Very filling and made fresh on the spot. Their chips and salsa is also very good.

  • *****

Authentic traditional Mexican food with speedy friendly service. The drive through intercom doesn't work so you have to remember what you want but I go there often enough I don't need the menu. They have all the usual Mexican cuisine.

  • *****

Liver and onions taco... I never would have thought of it, but they are so delicious! I don't think I've had more tender liver. Cilantro and lime juice make it that much better. I tried the goat tacos as well and was surprised at how flavorful they were. I've liked everything I've tried here so far. Its a little bit of a drive for us, but we'll be back often.
